Summary
Twin Cedars Bank, a leading financial institution in Central Iowa, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Administrator to join our Commercial team in Des Moines. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to our commercial banking clients, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer service.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manage the complete loan documentation and compliance process, including preparing, reviewing, and maintaining accurate records for commercial loan applications, agreements, and related documents.
Facilitate the opening and maintenance of business deposit accounts, including checking, savings, and treasury management services.
Serve as the primary point of contact for business customers, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing guidance on the bank's products and services.
Collaborate with the Commercial Relationship Managers to ensure timely and accurate processing of customer requests, such as wire transfers, ACH transactions, and account changes.
Maintain detailed records and documentation for all customer interactions and transactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Assist with the preparation of periodic reports, statements, and other financial documents as needed.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Commercial team by identifying and implementing process improvements.

Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar administrative or customer service role within the banking or financial services industry. Ideal candidate has experience in retail banking and loan operations.
Proficient in using banking software, customer relationship management (CRM) tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
Familiarity with commercial banking products, loan documentation, and compliance regulations is preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
